Body Composition Analysis
How body composition Analysis empowers your health goal
Many clients want to improve aesthetics, wellbeing or improve energy. The best approach is Incremental, targeted and measurable change.
Body composition measurement is a tool to monitor your performance and wellbeing goals.
The Inbody 770 breaks down your body into the 4-components:
total body water (intracellular water and extracellular water),
protein,
mineral and
body fat.
The ratio of these four components influences health and wellbeing and can differ in gender, age, and individual properties.
The Inbody 770 analyses your body’s components quantitatively to provide information on your body condition and make-up. This body composition analysis then provides a basis to assess physical activity and dietary requirements to optimise personal wellness.
If you aren’t measuring you are guessing
Body composition is beneficial to:
1. Maintain body composition – maintain lean body weight to total weight
2. Body recomposition – reducing weight but increase or maintain lean body weight
3. Increase Lean body weight – seeking to increase overall muscle mass without increasing body fat.
Without an accurate measure of body composition, at the start and during a programme, it’s nearly impossible to understand what is happening based on scale weight alone.
Scale weight is a single metric. Understanding your body composition requires an examination of your body fat, muscles, water and minerals. Body composition testing has been the domain of professional athletes due to the expense and process required to assess body composition.
How the Inbody works
The Inbody 770 uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) which passes a low-level electrical current through the body to determine the composition of:
Lean mass (protein)
Minerals
Water
Fat.
Working with the Inbody gives you:
A clear understanding of your body composition
