As the Captain of Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), DYSON HEPPELL is highly regarded as a ‘star Bomber midfielder’ and, simultaneously a ‘true leader in every sense of the word’. On and off the field - his open mind, resilience, inner-strength, courage and humility - inspires us all. Throughout the continuous evolution of his career, he has grown through pain and adversity with perseverance and authenticity. Learnt to trust in his innate adaptability. Strengthened his sense of self. And, emerged profoundly resilient.
